There are very few times, I mean normal regularly occurring instances, that I see the hand of G-d and that is when people are trying to get somewhere, particularly if it is on a plane. It is one of those events we take for granted: flying tube goes up in air, flying tube comes down and people get out with all limbs in tact. It is only when things break down that I see that someone else is calling the shots. For example, my wife was trying to get my mother-in-law to extend her visit from 10 days to two weeks about. I agreed with her mother that a 10 day visit is a good solid chunk of time. G-d decided in favor of my wife, and one of the worst snow storms I can remember has kept us all locked up in tight quarters for the foreseeable future, assuring my mother-in-law as much baby time as she desires. I’m sure there are many people with similar stories from this storm, and I have a number of other instances in my life where I see this has happened. Just thought I’d share, for no particular reason I suppose.
